Tissue engineered blood vessels

Sammanfattning av projektet

Detta projekt syftar till att utveckla biologiska blodkärl.
Bakteriell cellulosa används som stödjevävnad. Tekniken vi har medför att cellulosarör kan tillvärkas. Cellinväxt in vitro och in vivo studeras. I djurexperimentella modeller analyseras rörens egenskaper efter kort- och långtidsimplantation

Blood Vessel Prosthesis

Prosthesis, constructed of either synthetic or biological material, which is used for the repair of injured or diseased blood vessels.
