Randomized clinical trial of the use of a prostethic mesh to prevent parastomal hernia

Sammanfattning av projektet

Paratomala bråck är ett stort kliniskt problem, över 50% av patienterna som får en stomi utvecklar ett parastomalt bråck. Idag har vi igen bra metod att reparera parastomala bråck.
Arbete 1-3: Vi har randomsierat 54 pateinter till antigen konventioenll stomi eller en stomi med ett profylaktiskt low weight nät i sublay position. Patienterna är uppföljda efter 1 mån, 1 år och vi håller nu på med 5 års uppföljningen

Arbete 4: Vi har sedan 2003 lagt profylaktiska nät på alla patienter som fått en stomi, vi ämnar följa upp dessa 1 år efter op med avseende på komplikationer och stomibråcks förekommst
